Identifying Mortice Keys

I always get the question being a Locksmith Eastern Suburbs wide, how good is the mortice lock I have on my door. The first thing to do is identify the type you have and understand the security level of the lock.

A client searched Locksmith Surry Hills in Google and found me to ask this very question. The keys below belong to the most common high security mortice locks, all of these locks are known as 5 lever mortice locks. They can be quite old sometimes, but the security is usually just as good as the day they were put in. They are still manufactured the same way, although these keys are more undesirable to carry around these days.

These 5 lever locks can be rekeyed to new keys if required rather than buying a new lock.
